Laptop Motherboards

I am getting ready to replace a motherboard in a laptop and I have some questions as to the difference between a desktop and a laptop motherboard.

One, it seem like the laptop has a lot more things integraded into it than the desktop. Correct me if I am wrong, but you cannot replace CPUs or video card in a laptop? In other words, then I buy the new replacement motherboard it will come with a CPU and a video card in it already, correct? I am only talking about a laptop that is about 4 or 5 years old max.

Thank you,

And how much does this motherboard cost? If its more than $200 or so then its not worth it, just buy a new laptop.

It is for a customer. Now back to my question, is the CPU and video card usually integraded into the motherboard?

The video is usually integrated into the motherboard, the cpu might be able to get replaced, depends on the motherboard.
