I have a Dell Latitude which I am absolutely in love with!
This guy is maturing and I'm thinking it is time to give him a printer to cohabitate with. I will mostly be printing Word documents and cd labels. Do any of you know of a fairly durable printer for these purposes? I don't want to spend over $200 at this time. Is that feasable?

For just regular printing like that, you should be fine with almost any printer.

The cd labels, its the program itself and the paper required that you will need. So you just need like a 3rd party program and the right paper.

Take a look here:

You can't really go wrong with any if your just printing normal documents and what not. The only thing you might want to look at is a name brand that you think you can trust.

I had a Lexmark once. It was only about $20, and it was total crap! Aside from the rather low quality, the ink didn't last half as long as my old HP carts did. I've since gotten rid of that printer :P I still have my old HP...um, 3250 I think it was. I'm holding on to it for emergency backup or something.

I now have a HP PSC-1300(I think that was the model...it's an all in one) The quality is quite good, not quite the same level as my dad's PhotoSmart, but darn close... Also, I've yet to have to replace the carts, and I've had the thing for about a year or so!
