Laptop overheating?

My Compaq Presario CQ40 is hitting 78C with some load, around 50-60C when idle and 92C while doing some light multiplayer gaming ( HALO:Custom Edition ). Atmospheric temperature is 86C where the laptop is located and the laptop doesn't have an in-take vent. Just one vent and it blows the hot air out of it. Tj. Max according to core temp is 115C.

Do you think I need to open up the whole laptop ( would hate that ) to clean the vents?

Yes, as well as clean up and change the thermal paste. I use Arctic Silver 5 and Arcticlean of everything, laptops, graphics cards, motherboards, CPU's etc.

The laptop will run much cooler once you change the paste and clean out the dust.
