Laptop power problem

The Laptop wont boot up at all with no LED light or anything glowing. The power adapter is fine as I bought a new one and still nothing.
It was fine while there was charge remaining in the battery but it wouldn't charge at all and now the charge has ran out and I have no idea what's wrong,
Any help would be appreciated

Most likely your power adapter port on the laptop has broken away from the motherboard so that it won't charge anymore. When you have it plugged in, does it feel really loose?

Yeah it feels very loose. What can I do to fix that ?

You will have to take it in to have it repaired.

There's no point in that as it ill cost me £114 + any parts cost. Plus its a 3 years old laptop, is there any chance I could repair it myself ? I'm happy to open it all up myself.
