Laptop problem. HELP!

I haven't been able to use my wireless internet connection since I installed Windows XP SP2.

When I switch on the computer, it connects fine to the wireless until about 5 minutes later, when it just disconnects for no reason.

Then I do this:

Open up the dialog box below:

Click on Connect

Wait for 5-10 seconds, when it connects. When it does, the box hasn't completely connected, with it still staying it's connecting. Then after about 5-10 minutes, it disconnects again.

It is a little confusing to explain, but can anyone help at all?

check and make sure you have the correct drivers for your wireless adapter, also check and make sure your IP settings match up with what they need to be for your type on network connection.

To my knowledge, everything like that is OK, but I will try to re-install the driver for the network card. But could it just be my home network? I might try it at work and see if it acts like that.

i wouldn't know why it would be your home network, trying it at work sounds like a good idea
