Ok, i was helping my friend with there computer. They said they thought they had some viruses because there computer wasnt acting normal.
i told them to get Avast Home Edition 4.7.1043 because i had it on my computer and with its boot time scanner, i thought it worked great.
now her computer messed up pretty bad during the boot time scanner, it first found a win32 virus, and my friend hit delete all out of all the choices (delete, delete all, repair, repair all, move to chest etc...)
after she hit delete all it started scanning for more viruses, well into the scan, after the win32 was deleted the computer shut off, the monitor went black, idk much about there computer but they said it stopped. when they turned it back on, the internet didnt work, it wasnt connecting... i was wondering was this caused from avast or when she deleted all the win32 virus files it could of messed it up?
(they figured out how to get back onto the internet by useing system restore which showed up when she turned the computer back on and she asked if she should do it or not, i said yes, but it didnt work the first time.)
