laptop processer for desktop?

Acutally that is quite possible with some processors. I heard of people using the mobile Athlon XP because it was more overclockable. My laptop uses a socket 754(yes, it's removable) so I would assume it would work in a desktop computer...

As long as the processors are removable and fit the socket, it SHOULD work... However, the motherboard might not be compatable with it...

you can get motherboard that support laptops cpu, thinking of p-m's and the intel core's

But they are specialist boards, and you'd know if you had one :)
