Laptop Purchase Opinion

My coworker's laptop has a bad hard drive. She will sell me the unit for $75. I checked the price for a new hard drive and it's $60. I need to re-order the recovery CD's ($45), since she never made copies. My total estimated cost wiould be $180. Can someone with knowledge on laptops tell me if this is a good deal. I think it is. Will use it to surf the web/check my emails while in the living room or away from the house. Below are the specs for the labtop (HP Model G60 519WM). Any opinions are appreciated.

Thanks!

The deals is good enough if the only problem is bad hard drive. But make sure you buy or borrow a hard drive and test the laptop with the hard drive before you make a final payment.

The recovery cd's are only around $16, so that's less that what I had estimated. Thanks

That system won't do much more than just web browsing and email. It has a celeron processor won't do much online gaming. It's not a bad deal but you could spend about another $100 or so and get a better one.
