Long story short...
I started selling on amazon on my desktop computer at home. A friend gave me the run down and taught me how to sell there. Later, he was banned. I didn't know that he was banned. I went to his house and logged into my account to show him a few things. A few days later, Amazon banned my seller account as well...(for life!) because they thought I was him I guess. I presume they can track people by their, IP addresses, email adds, which bankding account information is given, and matching inventories (like, if the user tries to open another account)
1. If I were to get a laptop computer with an air card, would my IP address always remain the same no matter where I travel in my city (or other states i venture to) ?
2. If i were to get an internet service on my laptop in my name, could they determine what my real goverment name or real address is...or would they just know me as just another IP address?
Because the money was so good, I plan on setting up another account, in my best friend's name. Using a brand new email, a brand new checking account (not in my name of course) and internet connection (I need mobile internet now more than ever anyway, so might as well kill two birds) Do you think I'd be safe? Or do you think Amazon would find me some how and ban me again ?
