laptop screen problem

hello I have a fujitsu lifebook N3010 and i am having screen problems. I can barely see anything and i have to look really closely. I am pretty sure that its the backlight burned out. Whats the cheapest way to fix a backlight burn out? thanks

It's probably a short in the wires that go to he monitor, or maybe a bad...thing that powers the backlight(sorry, mind blanked out) If you could find a replacement screen, or maybe a dead laptop like yours with a good screen on ebay, that'd probably be your best bet.
