Laptop Screen

I have a working laptop screen.
From a Dell Inspiron 8100.

Is it possible at all to attach the screen to a computer and have that be the screen?

Having it mounted on the case and hooked up to the computer itself?

yes no. it would be near to inposable b/c you need to power the bulb and need a video adapter that turna the standerd siginal into a different siginal. i could be wrong but it is not worth it i think

it would be pretty awesome, but as was said earlier, near impossible. getting the correct power wouldnt be hard, but the connectors (at least for my old laptop) are pretty funky... youll just have to do some research!
