Laptop shutting off while gaming HELP

I have an ASUS g60 notebook that I use for everything including gaming and it worked perfectly fine until I got an Asus 22 inch display. Now while I'm playing games the computer will just randomally shut off. I'm thinking its do to overheating but I'm not sure, possibly a cooling pad could fix it?

i think so too..

install everest or something like this program and see what temp's you have while gaming.
cooling pad would be good , but i think it can't help..
