Laptop Slowing Up

Hi

My laptop has started going slower than ever lately, so I had a look in the task manager to see what programmes were running and there seemed to be quite alot.
The trouble is I dont what should be running and what shouldnt.
I have took a screen cap of the task manager and if anyone can tell me what shouldnt be there and how to get rid of it at start up I would be very grateful.

 
run a spyware removal tools run several of them to make sure you catch everything...
then run a registry cleaner tool to clean any spyware residue...

I've got 768mb of ram. Only ran the spyware programmes today. Spybot and AdAware.
Will give the registry a clean aswell

I have now run a couple of registry cleaners and run a malware search. It is still the same.
Are there any programmes that can sort this out that actually work.
My other option is to reformat the laptop.
what is the best way to back up my laptop to my external hard drive. (The external drive is fat32)
