laptop to tv cable help?

alright i have a pretty old laptop the Dell Inspiron 8100, and I also have a 27 inch Insignia HDTV, what is the current standard, or best choice cable for outputting HD signal from my laptop to the HDTV. The HDTV has pretty much every slot available such as composite, composite, vga, and more, even a USB... please help...

Hehe, I doubt USB is for video VGA would be the best from that laptop.

Basically, it's be RCA < S Video < Component < VGA < DVI/HDMI
