Laptop To TV

I have connected my laptop to my TV using an S-Video cable. After following instructions on Vista the TV screen remains blue. Am I doing anyting wrong? I would appreciate some help.
 
IF you right click on your desktop, go to properties and go to display settings. You'll have to set it up to go to both monitors or just the TV. Your computer uses your s-video for monitor 2.
 
If your driver doesn't detect it properly. you can set it to force detect and it should work, it does for me every time.
