So here's the story, my friend bought a new laptop because he won some money so he gave his old one to me.
His old laptop is dated from around 2001, yes old but i dont need many things just word, music player, etc. So the laptop has 40gb HD with loads of crap on it so i decided to format it with a windows xp pro disc, so i formated it (toke about 40 minutes) then i proceeded installing it GOD the stuggle of my life. first installing windows witch gained like 1% every minute. OK after it was finished the laptop rebooted and i though it was finished, but it only started. i had to install windows and finish the installation, it said aprox 39 minutes but it went soooooo goddamn slow, the cd disc was spinning hard for 5 seconds, then not spinning for 5 seconds , then spinning hard for 5 seconds and so it goes on. I though the laptop was gona be alot faster because its build to have windows pro on it but i was wrong, it was as slow as before so i decided to open the laptop up (im following Electronics in school so i know some things about electronics) i saw alot of dust so i blew it out, still didnt seem to help. But what i noticed was that alot of screws were gone so the laptop must have been opened before and alot i saw two wires (black and white) witch i think were a suply for somepart. I havent opened the laptop entirily being scared i will break it.
The laptop is a Toshiba sattelite pro 2100
