So recently my CPU died and I had to wait a few weeks for it to get fixed so I tried to revive my old computer and was unsuccessful. My old comp is a Dell Inspiron 9300. The only thing I've managed to do so far is upgrade the ram but it still has a significant amount of problems including a broken keyboard (I've already ordered a replacement) and these mysterious vertical lines on my screen. I've read around and it seems to be like a graphics card failure? I've been wanting to upgrade this computer for gaming for quite some time so I'd like to know what these vertical lines are exactly and it if has to do with my graphics card, what would be a suitable and easy upgrade? Any help is appreciated
.
tl;dr I get vertical lines on my screen and I'm pretty sure it's due to my graphics card. What can I upgrade my stock Dell Inspiron 9300 graphics card to?
