laptop video card question

Hi all. I need a new video card for my HP laptop. Do I need a special type of card for a laptop as opposed to a desktop, and can it be easily installed?

Correct me if im wrong but arent most laptops not upgradible(i know there are a few that are)

Most likely it's not upgradeable, why do you have now for video?

yeah it is not likely that you can upgrade the gpu in your laptop. if u give us the laptop and the specs that will be helpful. i think that it may be more trouble than it is worth.
