Laptop Waranty Question

I bought a laptop and it has windows vista on it, I am thinking about puting XP on it instead. Does anyone know ifthis will void by warranty? The laptop is an Asus and it came with a 2 year warranty.
 
no computer equipment ever come with software warranties. Warranty only covers hardware failure, but not abuse. So don't drop it or spill anything on it. You can load whatever software you want on it (xp, vista, linux, unix, whatever) but they probably won't give you any tech support if its not the oem OS. It does not void warranty.
