I have just bought an Acer 4652 this week. Initially it connected to my sky home network fine. However, it started playing up and I then noticed something strange. It would only connect to my network when my playstation 3 is turned on.
Ive no idea why this would affect this but ive checked it 100 times and its deffinetly the case (the ps3 is on now just so i can upload this thread!). ive double checked the keys, and everything seems to be fine. The windows troubleshooter says that the laptop network set up is fine and the problem must be with the router, however my PS3 is on the internet fine and my housemate can connect with his laptop when my PS3 is off. As its a sky router, im not able to just access the set up and have a look whats goin on as it requires usernames and password to enter.
Obviously I am pretty gutted that im not able to connect on my network, so I would really appreciate any info or help anyone can offer me!
