I have a wireless router downstairs and i use a laptop to access the internet. Now that my laptop had insufficient memory and resources to handle the programs i run im thinking of switching back to my pc. Now i dont want to run a 30m + ethernet cable from the router downstairs to my pc due to wiring issues.
So after considering what i cant do, i came up with a solution that i think might work. If i connect a cross-wire cable from my laptop to the pc and then allow other network users to access the internet through the wireless. Will it work?
