Laptop with 1,100 dollar budget

I really need a laptop for business/ a little gaming. My main thing is mobility, I want it to be under 5 pounds. What is the best laptop that I could get for 1,100? Maybe an Asus of some sort or what?
 
Look into the Dell Latitude D620 (it's a business line model). It's under $1100 with the rebates from Dell and has some pretty decent specs. One of the main draws is that a 3-year warranty is included in that price.
 
I don't beleive that Dell is good. THe parts they use aren't top line. Don't you think there are better deals out there for 1,100?
 
Even though Dell does not use the best possible parts they are still good, especially if you are on a budget. If you are just using this for business and some gaming I think Dell is your best bet. Just my opinion :)

Dell is great for laptops i would look into the Latitude line cause they are for buisness and are portable and if you arent going to game they would be perfect.
 
how about an apple?
get the mac book there light, have some graphics power, and can run windows for your business.
 
my laptop is asus, desktop replacement style for me, gaming is awesome, but it weighs in at 2.85kg, abt 6pounds mebbe? i dont use pounds really, i would say it wouldnt really matter too much, its abt the same price as 1100$ too
