Laptop Wont Turn On.

First Off Let me tell you everything that I have on my
Compaq Presario V5000Z.
-Microsoft Windows Home Edition.
-AMD Sempron(TM) 3300+(2.0GHz/128KB L2)
-128MB ATI Radeon XPRESS 200M
-256MB DDR SDRAM
-60GB 4200 RPM HArd Drive
-DVD/CD-RW Combo Drive
-Bright View Wide Screen 15.4"

The Problem Im having is it suddenly wont turn on.

try taking the battery out and see if it'll turn on with just the power cord connected

It works if I take the battery out and just leave the cord to charge in.

i would try another battery in the unit if possible. It sounds to me like your battery has failed but it could possibly be that the charging circuit could be dodgy. If another battery doesn't work i would send it in to get repaired

I'm confused, is it the battery or the notebook itself? :S

It was the thr plug in the wall..lol I thought that was what u met by the circuit sorry..

So the laptop works with out a battery in one room and with a battery in a other :S ok
