I am looking for a laptop for my nephew's high school graduation gift. I dont know that much about computer but i would like the laptop to have atleast 1 gb of ram,atleast 100 gb harddrive,a 15+ inch screen,have a cd/dvd reader and burner,and is in the range of $1000 - $2000 thank you

The Acer AS5672WLMi is a great choice. It's basically everything you need and want in one package at a reasonally price (starts at $1200 and up). Duo Core processor, webcam, DVD burner, dedicated graphics, 1gb+ RAM, etc. Of course you can always go with something else... that is if you want to use up the whole $2000 budget. But the Acer is a great deal.
