laptops and graphics card

hey guys is it possible to add a graphics card in a laptop???? and do you guys have any idea how good is shared graphic memory of intel 4500 hmd is with 4 gb ram and 64-bit vista.

that is integrated graphic card.
What do you mean 'how good'? It all depends on your application. As far as you are not using laptop for gaming/ video editing, it does the job.
