Laptops for begginers

I'm looking to buy a gaming laptop at about 500-550$. I don't know much about computers. Is it possible to build one or should I just buy. And if I am buying does anyone have recommendations. I am looking to be playing games such as skyrim.
 
You have to buy, but you won't find anything for that price. Be prepared to spend no less than $900-$1000 for a decent gaming laptop.
