Laptops with 17''+ screens?

I'm planning to buy a new computer. I'll use it mainly for entertainment (movies, shows, etc.), work, and just general internet surfing. Prince is not that big of an issue.
The things I'd need in it are:

-At least a 17 inch screen.
-As thin, sleek and portable as possible.
-USB 3.0 included.
-Quadcore.
-RAM expandable to 16 gigs.
-Preferably a solid state drive. If not, I'll have to change it.

I recommend getting a Toshiba since I'm happy with mine. I have a 3 year old 18.4" Satellite P500 and it's still going strong.

You can configure it to your liking swapping out the HDD for the SDD.

Toshiba is a decent choice. But without knowing what you plan to do with it, and how much you can spend, we can not really recommend much.

I personally recommend Sager, MSI, Cyberpower, (well anything that uses a Sager core system) as they are the most user upgradable laptops on the market, and are very well made. Aside from them, I would say look at Asus or Toshiba.

I've got a Toshiba L355 17inch and a P500 18in. I love them both. With an 17-18 in you will be pushing ease of travel with it. Very burdensome carrying a behemoth plus its power supply. My L355 just started dying lately, had that since 2008-2009 timeframe and got my P500 in 2010. Both have gone to Iraq with me so yes I do know the troubles in carrying them around. for a 17, you arent going to get too much of a thin/sleek one.
