large security updates for windows

my hard drive is starting to fill up soi looked through 'add or remove programs' to see what junk i could remove.
I came across 26 downloads for 'security update for windows xp' size = 305.00mb - these seem very big to me or is this ok?
 
are all 26 updates 305MB each? If theres only one like that then its most likely Service pack 2, which is fine.
