Laser mouse losing precision?

Mmk, so I've had this wire-less laser mouse since summer started and it was working great...but recently, I've noticed it seems to be losing precision, its a little jumpy somtimes and a little sluggish. I've got the docking bay/reciver like 4" from it and I just replaced the batterys and its been charging...its not bad now but I was wondering if there is some helpfull tips or anything you guys might be able to share..?

Well, as the batteries lose charge, the mouse does lose some of its effectiveness... If ever you do have this problem again when the batteries are fully charged, try resetting the mouse or base, as the signal may have become slightly scrambled.
