Ok! After max Ocing both of these machines, which will perform greater? They are withing 6 bucks of each other. Also can the first set up use the second set ups Ram? (it’s a 754 chip and (2x512) ram?)
Both of these Mobos also have Sound for 2.1 correct?

Please make any suggestions that aren’t too expensive. I don’t want to spend a lot for small performance upgrade. If Setup 1’s ram can be changed to Setup 2’s ram u can use the difference to add anything I might need.
I’ve also got the case/fans/500w PSU/speakers/monitor/dvd-cd drive so don’t recommend those I’ve already got what I want. I just want to know the difference in performance between these 2 Overclocked. Thanks!!!

aim me at Jugeride
or Email me at [email protected] for suggestions or just post here!

You're gonna have problems squeezing a PCI-Express card onto a AGP board :) (for both setups)

Not that simple. After OCing the S754 will prolly be better off (because of the NF3 platform) but the S754 setup wont be [a] as good out-of-the-box and the lifespan will be shorter. Also, you'll be saving money by not getting a Dual Channel setup for the Socket754 platform because well Socket754 doesnt support Dual Channel

I just want to know the difference in performance between these 2 Overclocked. Thanks!!!
Nobody can tell you. It depends on how far you OC

Ok because you said that the Lifespan will be longer on the 939 i'm going to go with that. I'm going to stay with everything on set up 2 except the card and the board. If i go with the PCI-E 6600 GT card.. which mobo would suit me the best. If PCI-E is not the way to go which card/Mobo combo would best suit me. Thanks

Well if you get a PCI-Express card and want it now and the best u can get then the X800XT PCIe is the route to go. Other option is the 6600GT. As for AGP, the 6800GT would be the route to go
