late RAID

i built a new comp intending to run a RAID1 setup, i couldn't get it working though(turns out i never attached a power cable to my floppy drive) so i just set up my 2 drives as seperates. drive c: (30gb) has my windows xp on it, drives f: (290gb) G: (30gb) and H: (290) are all empty, i formatted and partitioned all drives. is it too late to set up a raid1 now? if so would i have to reinstall XP? how do i do it?

You'd have to format your windows drive if you wish to RAID that. However, you can make a RAID storage drive.

Now, if you get something like Ghost, you could make an image of your current boot drive, then make the RAID and write the image to the new RAID setup...

did

after googling ghost programs I bought and downloaded Acronis true Image 10, while downloading my windows jumped to a screen saying if you recently installed new software rebooyt from a previous safe point, or something like that and started to do a memory dump, i rebooted and redownloaded and the same thing happened, i got about 90% of the download and the icon was on my desktop when i rebooted so i used true image and cloned my c drive and put it onto my h drive, but my c drive has 15bgb on it and after i cloned to h there was 8gb on h drive, did it compress it maybe? i am not sure if i am using true image right or not, it is worded very weird and not easy to use.
