Latest build in a long while..backup/streaming computer

The main objective of this build would be for the computer to act somewhat as a NAS, although I use the term loosely as I'm not super familiar with it. I'm looking for the computer to store backups of several other computers on the network, and allow for some streaming of content. Most likely not more than 2 1080p streams at the same time, definitely not more than 3. Through my searches I've stumbled upon [FreeNas](http://web.freenas.org/for-home/), although the specs seem very much over the top for what I'm looking to do. I don't have a concrete budget in mind as of yet, I prefer to buy parts that give me the best bang for my buck, rather than the cheapest or best performing. I haven't decided on anything yet but I put together the following build just as a starting point, if i wasn't to go with FreeNas.

Sata Controller Card (optional?):

Hard Drives: Still need to decide on how much storage I need

Case: http://www.canadacomputers.com/product_info.php?cPath=6_113&item_id=065888 looks good with 4 drive bays in total and relatively low cost.
