LCD blurry,streaky,really wierd, whats going on?

i just finish transfering files from my C to my G drive. i look back on my desktop to turn off comp(i have to go 2 school) and then see my icons all streaky, i dont know if the picture does the justice it needs, but it is really streaky. any ideas? thnx.

Screenshot looks fine. Are you sure you set your monitor to the native resolution? And install your graphic's card drivers?

JPEG artifacts.

Monitor problems cannot be shown with a screen shot. You'd have to take a picture of your physical monitor.

o thnx for ur quick replies guys, i turned off my comp b4 i left school, an now i'm back and turned it on, the comp is fine now. btw fortyways, thanx for that bit, i had no idea, u learn something new everyday. once again thanx guys for ur quick replys, i really do appreciate this!
