I am looking at many LCD tv's.

I narrowed it down to 32''s.
It was going to be 42, but I want something semi portable.

So what key features should I look for?

I plan to use this as a TV for shows and movies, and for console gaming, like the xbox 360. And also, for LAN parties that I host at home, I would like it to hook up to my computer for gaming and stuff.

Thanks

What do you mean by semi portable? How can a 32" TV be portable? And anyway if the LAN party is at your place you don't need the monitor to be portable anyway.

A 32" LCD TV wont be that good for computer use, since the resolution and DPI will be much lower then any regular LCD monitor. But it should be fine for games.

When I host LANs, I host them down the hall.

So Id have to carry it...

And what do I have to look for, for it to be a good tv and computer monitor, and console gaming.

Well first of all resolution. 1080i would be the best I think, but its really expensive. If your resolution is crap, then it would be useless. Secondly, you have to say to yourself can I compromise size for portability, because they don't mix, you can't have a big tv and also be portable. I don't see how it would be so difficult to move a 32" TV around once in a while, unless you have LAN parties everyday, in which case you should leave your TV at the desired place to have your parties. ;)

Just to kinda edit what I said before, a 32" LCD TV will be decent for computer gaming, but not if you want to use it to surf the web or edit photos or anything, since the DPI is really low for LCD TV's compared to monitors.

Ive opened up to newegg and bestbuy.
Buying it online would be cheaper.

I want to go as big as possible, but with the best quality.

So if its 32'' and good internal specs, then its 32'' then.

So since I really do not know what to look for, can I get some links.

I need it to be good quality for... Tv shows, movies, gaming *xbox 360*, good for pc gaming*can my 7900gs handle it?*

Maybe also, a nice set of 5.1 speakers or 7.1 or something.

Thanks.

I want to stay under $1100
