I just got a Samsung 19inch lcd mointer but im having some problems. Its always static, no matter what the resolution is. The drivers are updated as well so I dont know what the problem is. Could it be the intergrated graphics?
Your first assessment is the closest. Even when initially needing and now not needing the driver for the lcd monitor here the picture is always spotless and clear like it's supposed. If there is a connector loose inside the plug that could result in some signal loss there. Examine the vga plug and vga jack to see if you notice anything there.
