LCD monitor question

Hey guys,

dunno if you remember but i made a post some time back about my 22" lcd monitor makes my eyes hurt and go realy dry.

some people suggested i up the refresh rate to its fullest which it was alerady at 60htz or whatever it is,i turned my brightness to 45% and the contrast to 70% i think but it still makes my eyes hurt and gives me bad headeach.

but its horribly dark at those settings and like i mentioned it still gives me problems.

so i thought i would use just my 19" belinea LCD for a week and see if its better and its at 35% brighness and 70% contrast and i have not had dry eyes or headeach since.

question is though, what is it with my other monitor thats causing my problems you think?

because i just have a 22" monitor sitting there now doing nothing.

yeah they asked me that last time,i started putting the light on when i use the pc but still makes me ad.

it just seems to be that 22" monitor, its the same make as my 19" which is okay.

I didn't see your previous post on this, so I may be repeating what has already been said. If this is a glare issue due to the increased screen size, then maybe wearing some weak sunglasses might help alleviate this. Just a thought. An anti-glare screen might help, but they look to be expensive. I also found this link on monitor ergonomics which may provide some helpful info.
