LCD monitor Qustions

Wow

I must say that that's an AWSOME monitor. The contast ratio is very very good. I also looked at the reviews and people love it. As far as your questions go...I think that here you may be paying a bit more but for better quality. I would stick with it. The pixel size would not worry me at all and obviously the smaller the better (theoretically), yet as long as you do not stare at the monitor 10 cm away from it, then that will play no role! One more thing...the response rate does not really make a huge difference. The LCD technology has evolved by a bit so I would not worry.

LOL I will say that is a shitty monitor.
1. 25ms response time is garbage
2. 250 cd/m² brightness is crummy

Lol

Well...what is the response time of CRTs? CRTs SUCK BIGTIME! And I would still go with an LCD like that instead of a monitor that hurts your eyes and is as big as Canada! LOL...sorry but I got a bit involved in this topic. I jsut think that calling something SHITTY is just wrong. What one considers SHITTY is what others believe is EXCELLENT compared to CRTs (which we all know are SHITTY :)). Ok enough. U see my point?

which we all know are SHITTY

Not to jump into anything here but I just wanted to say that I dont agree with that at all.

Do you mean hurts your eyes as to say crts are ugly? If so then I should really send you a pic of my crt as I think it's a very beutiful piece of equipment ;-).

I agree with you totaly for many reasons.

which we all know are SHITTY

Didn't we both already agree this was wrong? LOL!

U see my point?

Not sure about anyone else but yes I partly see your point, do you see mine? :-)

Nice POST :)

Yeah I see your point and you see mine. I did not mean to say that CRTs are SHITTY. I know that they are better for gaming for example. I did mean ugly in general. I bet yours is not. I was generalizing. Anyway I really enjoyed reading your reply. It's all a matter of personal opinion.

Thanks for that jancz3rt :-)..

Sorry jeamourt3 for posting in your thread without including any helpfull comments ;-).
I know very little about the flat panels but perhaps I could give some advice and hope that it's good advice :-)..

Most people that I run into look at price then what they are getting but I would suggest when these flat panels are concerned that you firstly ask the hard questions such as what is a good response time ect. read many reviews when possible and then when you feel very confident then make your purchase based on monitor quality and not simply on the cost. Most of us are on a budget but to make a purchase for somthing based simply on how cheap it is in this case could come back and bite you in the ars... I guess what i'm trying to say is expect to spend a bit more on a quality product instead of settling and your chances of being happy with your purchase greatly increases.
