When I watch a blue-ray movie on my LCD and blur-ray drive, during the movie the screen flickers between a clear black to a faded black. It happens very fast then returns to normal but it will flicker through out the entire film. Any suggestions on what may be the cause of the problem and how it may be fixed.

Are you sure your cables are connected properly? Sorry, I don't know much about ATI cards, just nVidia cards
If it was one of THOSE nvidia cards I would say it's melting because it can't handle the awesomous power of HD, update your drivers. Look at your ATI settings.
