LCD TV as PC monitor

My boss is wanting to buy a big LCD tv to mount on the wall and use as a primary monitor for his PC. He was the white DVI, the blue VGA, and the black TV-out slots on the computer's videocard.

Do you guys see any probelms in doing this and who has ever tried it?

Will work fine.
Although I would try to use HDMI, I believe it works a little better than VGA. I have only done this once though.

He will probably use DVI, I do not think he has a HDMI port on the system. This will be his main PC monitor for work so he will not even utilize HD.

Thanks anyone else agree? Anyone had issues using a LCD tv as a computer monitor? Thanks.

I am looking at LCD TVs and I dont see any with DVI inputs?? help

I have a 32" 720p LCD TV, which I use for my primary monitor for my PC. I use VGA, and it is amazing for videos, great for games, and is also great for regular activity such as internet browsing and office apps.

sounds like what im thinking about doing, i mean i want to get a nice lcd, so its between getting a 20 inch samsung monitor and a 32 inch tv, or a 42 inch tv to double as a monitor
