Firstly i'd like to apologise for the lack of information I can provide. But the TV in question has been lent out to my sister and I have no way of immediately checking its specifics!! I'd also like to thank anyone with advice, in advance! It is greatly appreciated.
Ok here is my dilemma. I'm an avid gamer and i'm eagerly awaiting the release of the new Warhammer Online game on thursday. So much so infact that I decided to do away with my old gaming laptop and invest in a new PC. Many of my friends had previously purchased a desktop PC from overclockers.co.uk and had nothing but praise for the systems they'd bought. So when I had the available cash I went over there and ordered the following PC. (it may not be the best of the bunch, but I think it will do me nicely for the funds I have available!)

Right so... being a man of limited means, everything I had saved basically went into that PC. Which I originally thought would be fine based on the fact that I already have a keyboard/mouse and speakers that will go with it just fine. I also thought that the LCD TV I got for my birthday a year or so ago would do a damn fine job at bringing my games to life.
However, upon looking online for any cables I would be required to buy to make it work, I've read a couple of forum posts of people saying I may run into some difficulties! Which has scared me a little bit as, perhaps in my ignorance, I fully expected to be able to be up and running in a matter of minutes as soon as the PC arrived.
so at long last, and I'm sorry for taking so long, we get to my question. Will I be able to set up the LCD TV, (which i'm almost sure has the capability to serve as a computer monitor as there is a switch that when pressed brings up the message "no signal" and then switches back to TV!) with a simple £5 wire from any electrical shop? WITHOUT the use of an actual monitor to set the TV up?
I really hope that makes sense! and I really hope I can, as I really can't afford to spend £100+ on a new monitor at the moment!
