Learning C/C++

Yes I could just google this but Im posting here because I want to know what you guys think . Now, I want to hear, whats the best way to learn this, classes arent a good option for me, at least physically. So any books, internet sites, or anyother ways of learning C/C++ that you guys would recommend?

if you want to be cool heres what you should do:
1. get a beginners book on C out at your library i recommend the visual quickstart series
2.pratice and get a intermediate C++ book out if you don't mind guessing on occasion
3. start learning C# it pwns n00bs and even 1337 hax0rs
