Lenovo H500s upgrade ideas

Hi, I've got Lenovo H500s old office computer and I want to upgrade or maybe repurpose it.
I think the case can fit a mini atx mbo but I'm limited by the PSU size
I'm considering buying a PSU, low profile GPU, MBO and CPU, basically changing the whole thing and using it for psx, ps2 emulator and some PC games for my son.

If anyone has any ideas or advice I thank you in advance.

To be honest I would start fresh. There's simply too many limitations to work around and you'd spend more in effort making a worse system than what you'd potentially save.

Also keep in mind the CPU on those is soldered and not upgradable, plus you're limited to a single SODIMM slot and a laptop power brick, in addition to SFF. I think even the PCIE slot while is a 16x physical form factor is limited to 4x lanes on PCIE 2.0. Not even good enough for a dedicated card in most use cases.

A classic ATX header

But I'm guessing whatever can fit in here where the 3 screws are
