Lenovo T43 Docking problem

Why would my laptop not boot up when in the docking station..?? But when its out of the station it boots up fine and i can insert it into the docking station after and it works fine from there on??? Any troubleshooting ideas??
 
well its been a few months ive been dealing with this problem im not trying to up my post count but this problem has not been fixed. Is there anyone at all even with a guess they could take? If i shut the system down all the way pop it out of the dock make sure its off pop it in the dock off then turn it on it just stays at the post screen like where you would press F1 to enter the bios, no keys work btw. But when i pop it out instantly it boots up and then i can pop it in while its still in the windows loading screen! (it did the same thing in windows xp though im running windows 7 pro now) so i dunno. All i have connected to it is a kvm switch, Ethernet, and a second monitor. Bios is updated. All windows updates are updated. I dont know...

System Model = 2686M7U

Bios Version = Phoenix FirstBIOS(tm) Notebook Pro Version 2.0 for IBM Thinkpad

EDIT: Spoke too soon thought i fixed it and it just continues to haunt me :( ....
