Hey guys, just wanted to drop in again, and wish I would of sooner. Ill admit I forgot about you guys, you yall helped me when I built my gaming rig, and I wish I would of not be so hastey again. long story short. I just ordered a Lenovo T450 with the i5-5300U 8 GB RAM, 256 SSD Windows 7 Pro, for $850. No gaming here by the way. I went with Lenovo for their seemingly durable computers, and ill be using this one for school and light 3d modeling nothing too power hungry. But heres my little problem. I cleverly read reviews on this laptop after I bought it, why idk. lol. and it seems it doesn't have the IPS display option the T450S has. mine has a 14" 1600-800 TN, which I guess is infamous as a dull whatever display. should I just send this laptop back as soon as I get it, and try something else, maybe get some help on what would work best for me. Im just wondering if this screen ordeal is enough to warrant a deal breaker. Im not super super picky when it comes to screen quality, I mean I like a decent clear nice screen. just not sure if this screen problem is as bad as people are making it out to be.... and also as a ending question. is this really a good laptop...thx guys.

Definitely try it first, it's probably fine. TN displays look fine IMO. IPS is obviously better but not being an IPS doesn't make it bad by default. My 1080p monitor is a TN display and looks great. My IPS next to it is obviously brighter and a bit better in colors, but not noticeably enough to make me want to chuck my TN one out the window. Mainly brightness is the difference I notice.
