Lenovo T60 broken and insurance have offered this.

I dropped and broke my T60 1951-FDG-

2GB ram 1.66mhz duo, 80gb HDD.





Insurance have offered a Lenovo Ideapad G560 M2796UK

What do you all think and if you don't like it what would you get with a similar amount of money (£380 ish) as they said I could look at a different brand? They also said I could take £301 cash instead.

If thats their offer what can you do? Oh get some stickum to rub on your fingers, it helps football receivers it might also help you.:)

Looking at the next year quotes for insurance and subsequent yearly quotes if I claim it's not worth going through with it. No claims bonus hits hard :(

It's really not worth buying the insurance I have found I feel the same about extra warranties. It might work for a few but many just spend extra money for nothing.

You have to break something worth a lot of cash to make it worth while. Looks like I'm gonna have to buy a new Laptop back and replace it myself :mad:
