I'm trying to help out a friend of mine with a problem he's having with his Lenovo Thinkpad T61. The problem is that it will only display things on an external monitor, not on the laptop screen, and for whatever reason he can only start it up in safe mode. I haven't done much research on laptops and am frankly stumped on this.
EDIT: I found this but he says that he doesn't even see the Lenovo and Intel logos when he turns the laptop on.
