Lenovo w/Intel Pro wireless

I am unable to get my US Robotics 5461 router to connect with my new laptop. I am able to connect hard wired of course. My MAC filter is disabled. It tries to connect but can't aquire address. Have been with tech support and they say it is with the router. I can connect at other places (Panera Bread). Maybe I just need to go there every day for breakfast?!? I have two other laptops that have worked all along, just this new one. I tried connecting with this one on only, didn't make a difference (interferance issues). I hope I don't have to buy a new router. OH, I already checked for updated firmware, it has the latest. I have not been to Intel's website yet. Downloaded updated drivers off Lenovo too. H E L P!!

I finally bought another router. Sam's club took my US Robotics back as it had a two year warranty. I replaced it with Linksys. No problems. Lenovo was great for support. We determined that it was a router issue. US robotics was worthless. I won't buy anything of theirs again. Just kept getting B.S. stuff, 'it's interference' or other stupid answers.
