Leopard on a Windows Vista PC

Yes there are ways but we cannot discuss such on the forum, in any case you will be breaking apples End User License Agreement.
Apple won't allow and it is illegal to make their OS run on non other than apple hardware.

Hope you understand.

Its illegal. There are some ways to do it as patrick said.
why just not buy a Mac? and install vista on it. Legally!!!

You know...

You know what I don't get. I don't get how someone can spend five-hundred dollars on software that they can't even technically use. I read something about operating systems and other specific software not being really yours, they're just leasing it. I mean, if I buy something with that kind of price tag, and I put it on my own computer. I'll be damned if I can't debug some of the things in their that don't work right and change things around. I'll also be damned if I can't install an operating system on a machine just because Mac wants to be a little girl about it. And also, whats up with Microsoft saying that in visual studio 2008 beta, you can't distribute any of the software you make. Seriously, and the idea that if you buy vista or anything else, you can't use it on more than one machine. I understand it protects it from the pirates and stuff but seriously, if I buy two laptops with lets say mac osx on them, and already forking up over 2 grand can't put on vista disk, on both machines. You know, if I ever buy two macs, microsoft can just bite my balls lol.

you can't tell Microsoft what to do with their software nor can you tell apple, so deal with it

Well I can't indeed but I'm not, they make it, and we buy it. Thats like a dominos saying that when we buy their pizza we can't take off the olives, or that when we buy out food with one credit card, you can only use that credit card three more times before you have to use a different one.

Yeah and your response will be something on the line of, well then go buy different pizza... Well in this case, we can't and if we choose linux then we suffer from incompatiability and a steep learning curve.

Well... I chose linux anyway a good many years ago and I do what I want with my PC and the software I download...

becuase you could make a "hackintosh" for about $800 that runs 10.5!

On a similar note it is illegal to run mac OS in VM, even if it was possibley, unlike windows. I have heard developers and tech support ppl complain about this because they have to buy a mac to do what they do reather than buying the OS.

Pizza is not an operating system. Microsoft spends millions - if not, billions - developing software for consumers. The licensing agreement is necessary for Microsoft to earn a profit.

Apple, as Steve Jobs has stated, is a software company. Their fancy hardware is useless without the nice software running the hardware. Again, it's about making money.

You know this, so I'm not sure why you have a problem w/ the way ALL publicly held software companies' operate.
