I noticed that unlike other printers that i own before, the printer head in Lexmark X2350 is one with the cartridge.

i was wondering since my ink is almost out. Do i still need that empty cartridge since the printer head is connected to it? or if i buy another cartridge it will have a new printer head with it?

Lexmark and HP cartridges all have the printhead built into the cartridge. Canon and Epson don't. So, to answer your question, yes a new cartridge will have a printhead in it...

Not all of the printers do. The HP businessjet printers use four separate cartridges not attached to the print heads, and I believe that some of the photo printers also may not have them attached.

But yes, your printer does. And that is why inkjet cartridges are so expensive, because the companies can make you pay for the print head and the ink, while you just think that it is the ink

Sweeeeeeeeeeeet, that mean i can just refill these finished cartige with out worrying killing the printer head.

Thanks

Nononononononononono you can't. I was talking about only certain printers, not yours. I am not sure about your specific model, but I highly doubt that such a feat is possible. Generally, you should just buy a cartrige/print head together. Sorry for the confusion...:o

Its all good Bobo, I know what you mean. My model's Cartige does have the printer head on it. ^^

Ohhh...yes now I see what you mean. You don't need to worry about the print head because the new one will have one built in. *light goes on*

Bueno then. Good luck to you.

Tim
