LG DVD-ROM Problem

I have bought a "LG DVD-ROM" drive and i tried to rip some movies with DVDShrink.
About the first 20 times it takes almost 20 minutes to rip them.
After that the time was doubled and every time i put into DVD drive a DVD or a single CD it takes about 1 - 2 minutes to read.
Also i change the drive with a new one, but i had exactly the same problem.

Does anyone know what to do?

Dvdshrink does a quick analysis of the dvd every time you put it in, is that what you mean by taking 1-2 minutes to read it? 20 minutes is pretty quick to tell you the truth, my computer is very new and it takes me at least that long (I also do deep analysis which takes more time but I'm talking time without doing that). Try ripping a dvd that you have already burned onto a 4.7gb disk, it should take like 5 minutes or so to rip it. If it takes significantly more time, then something might be wrong.
